New Changes to accessing the service

Over the past six months, we have received invaluable feedback from our patients as we strive to improve access to our practice. One of the tools we use to efficiently navigate patient needs is eConsult. Many of our patients have provided positive feedback regarding the flexibility it provides, as it can be done from the comfort of their own home without waiting on the phone or answering uncomfortable questions.

While we continue to encourage the use of eConsult as a first port of call, we understand that it may not be suitable for every patient. As such, we have implemented a new change to remove the need for completing an eConsult form over the phone or at the reception desk. Instead, our team will ask a few questions about your medical concern and offer an appropriate appointment.

We are also working diligently behind the scenes to improve the wait times on our phone lines. We encourage patients who are able to use online platforms for managing their health to do so, as this will help keep our phone lines open for those who need it most.

Thank you for your continued support and patience as we work towards improving access to our practice.
